Court rejects bail application of PDP leader Waheed Parra A special court on Thursday rejected the bail plea of PDP leader Waheed Parra, the second time in five months, and decided to hear on Friday arguments on the chargesheet filed against him, officials said. 5. Maharashtra board SSC results to be released The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) will be declared on the MSBSHSE's official website at 1 pm on Friday, an official said. 6. Schools in Haryana set to reopen The Haryana government has decided that students of Classes 9 to 12 of all government and private schools in the State will be allowed to attend school from July 16 onward, with the permission of their parents. 7. Melbourne to lockdown for five days Melbourne's fifth lockdown of the pandemic will apply across Victoria state, Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews said on Thursday. 8. Zomato IPO oversubscribed 4.8 times The IPO is open for subscription till Friday in a price band of ₹72-76 per share. 9. Coronavirus in India | Numbers and developments The Delta Plus variants constituted less than 1% of coronavirus samples that were sequenced in India in June and continuing outbreaks in India were primarily being led by the Delta variant, said a report from the India Sarscov2 Genome Consortium. The overall number of positive coronavirus cases in India in the country to 3,10,25,720 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The death toll from the disease stands at 4,12,563.
