1. Schools to re-open partially in some states Schools outside containment zones will reopen with strict COVID-19 norms from today. Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Sikkim will be reopening their schools partially in areas outside containment zones.

Punjab assembly likely to pass legislation against farm laws  Ahead of a two-day special Assembly session to counter the Centre’s farm laws, Punjab Cabinet on Sunday authorised Chief Minister Amarinder Singh to take any legislative or legal decision he may deem fit to protect farmers’ interests. The government will also table a bill to improve the State’s investment climate and generate employment.
