3. Samajwadi Party to organise protests across U.P. on Friday against farm, labour bills
The Samajwadi Party will organise a state-wide protest against farm sector and labour reform bills on Friday that they term as “harmful” and submit memoranda to the Governor through respective district magistrates.
4. BJP president to address Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary function on Friday

Shripad Yesso Naik and Jitendra Singh will launch on Friday a post-harvest management centre for medicinal plants in Bhaderwah and 21 AYUSH health and wellness centres across Jammu and Kashmir.

After a gap of over six months, the Telangana government has decided to resume bus services in Hyderabad from Friday. Inter-State bus services from Telangana to Karnataka and Maharashtra will also start from Friday.
7. Tarun Gogoi in ICU after oxygen level falls in post-COVID complications

The 85-year-old leader tested positive for the virus on August 25 and was admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) the next day. He tested negative recently but remained in the hospital.

Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali Khan have arrived in Mumbai ahead of the NCB appearance on Saturday.
9. Bombay High Court seeks Sanjay Raut’s reply on Kangana Ranaut’s plea over bungalow demolition
The Bombay High Court on Thursday asked Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut to file a reply to actor Kangana Ranaut’s petition against the demolition of a part of her bungalow here, and said it will start final hearing from Friday.
