Biden pushes his vision for the economy

If ever there was a moment to unveil a big, bold economic plan, this is it. The economy, despite some signs of recovery, is still in the hole as coroanvirus spreads and states pause reopening plans. Yet Joe Biden's economic plan, unveiled Thursday, represents many of the moderate stances he had already staked out before the pandemic, although he used a more progressive-sounding message this time. CNBC's Lauren Hirsch breaks it down.
Meanwhile, an influential financial advisory firm is telling its clients that Biden's economic plan shows that he won't move too far to the left if he wins the presidency, which could ease some concerns on Wall Street. CNBC's Brian Schwartz reports.
