1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments
The number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 2,86,928 with the death toll at 8,105. The Union Health Ministry on Wednesday said that India's coronavirus recovery rate had reached 48.88%. The number of recovered patients has surpassed the number of active cases in the country for the first time.
2) Congress charges BJP with attempting to topple Ashok Gehlot government - follow up
The Congress has charged the BJP with attempts to destabilise the Rajasthan government with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claiming that some of the party MLAs were offered Rs. 25 crore each.

3) Crucial AGR case hearing in Supreme Court
In a pivotal day for the Indian telecom sector, the Supreme Court will take up the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) case. The Justice Arun Mishra-led Bench of the court is likely to consider the issue of allowing telecom firms to pay the mammoth AGR dues worth Rs 1.43 lakh crore in a staggered fashion spread over 20 years.
4) West Bengal govt announces shifts for its employees
The West Bengal government announced shifts for its employees on Wednesday to prevent crowding at workplaces and help them avoid rush-hour commuting. The order will be effective from Thursday. Also, shooting of Bengali TV serials to start from Thursday as impasse over COVID-19 insurance is resolved.
5) Amitabh Bachchan arranges four flights to take migrant workers from Mumbai to U.P.
Two more flights with migrant workers will take off on Thursday, said sources close to Bachchan, adding he wanted to book a train for the migrants but the logistics did not work out.

6) Babri Masjid demolition accused may record statements through video conference
On Wednesday, the court recorded the statement of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. It has sought the presence of accused Lallu Singh, Kamlesh Tiwari, Santosh Dubey and Ram Chandra Khatri on Thursday.
