Apple's ad agency makes leadership change, appoints new executives for iPhone and Services

Apple’s advertising agency TBWA\Media Arts Lab has made a notable and rare change in leadership. Adweek reports that Geoff Edwards and Chuck Monn have been named executive creative directors,  with the former overseeing creative for Apple’s growing Services sector and the latter focusing on the iPhone.

IDC: Huawei and Samsung see huge YoY gains in wearable market but still bow to Apple

Leap Motion sells to rival VR company after failed acquisition talks with Apple

Late last year, a report claimed that Apple had made a $50 million offer to acquire virtual reality startup Leap Motion. Now, The Wall Street Journal reports that Leap Motion has agreed to sell itself to UltraHaptics, a UK-based competitor.

Apple highlights developer stories and diversity ahead of WWDC 2019

One highlights a young developer who has just launched her first app, while another profiles a veteran who creates communication aids for people with disabilities. Report: DOJ officials want T-Mobile and Sprint to create a new competitor as part of merger

Last week, a report explained that while the FCC verbally approved T-Mobile’s proposed merger with Sprint, the Department of Justice is ready to block the deal. Now, Bloomberg reports that top Justice Department officials want T-Mobile and Sprint to “lay the groundwork” for a fourth carrier as part of the deal.
