1. Odisha braces for another low pressure after Cyclone Gulab 

Barely hours after the remnant of Cyclone Gulab crossed the Odisha skies, the State is bracing for another low pressure which is likely to dump by heavy rains in the State. Authorities have issued warnings to the districts and asked fishermen to return from the sea. IMD on Tuesday forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Odisha during the next three days 

2. Decision on Ramlilas, reopening schools for junior classes expected at DDMA meet today

The Delhi government is expected to take a call on permitting Ramlilas during the Dussehra festival and reopening of schools for junior classes in a meeting of the DDMA scheduled on Wednesday, official sources said. 

Office bearers of some prominent Ramlila organising committees in the city met Lt Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday and urged him that the curb imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic be lifted. 

3. Ex-Goa CM Luizinho Faleiro arrives in Kolkata, likely to join TMC 

A day after quitting the Congress, former Goa Chief Minister Luizinho Faleiro on Tuesday arrived in Kolkata, where he is likely to join the Trinamool Congress (TMC), party sources said. 

Shortly before resigning as the MLA and primary membership of the Congress on Monday, Faleiro had said that the country needs a leader like West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

4. Kejriwal to make 'big' announcements during 2-day trip to Punjab: AAP 

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will embark on a two-day trip to Punjab during which he will make "big" announcements, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Tuesday. 

Mr.Kejriwal will visit Ludhiana on Wednesday and hold a meeting with traders there, the party said on Twitter. 

5. Kohli's RCB looks to build winning momentum against struggling RR 

A thumping win over defending champions Mumbai Indians boosting their confidence, Royal Challengers Bangalore would look to build on the momentum when they take on a struggling Rajasthan Royals in their Indian Premier League match in Dubai on Wednesday.
