The "Facelift In A Bag" beloved by a BuzzFeed Editor
Hi, I'm Daniel!
I'm originally from South Carolina but have been overpaying for rent in Brooklyn for 5 years now and absolutely loving it. If you spend more than 2 minutes around me you'll quickly learn that I'm a die-hard Britney fanatic, obsessed with Disney, and I drink an excessive amount of coffee on a daily basis (no seriously, my caffeine tolerance should be studied). Photos: Daniel Boan, unless otherwise noted I'm a sucker for skin care, '90s nostalgia, collecting my favorite pop albums on vinyl, and anything a celebrity says they can't live without. I'm not proud to admit that last one, but reading an interview with Kendall Jenner led to me purchasing a pretty amazing humidifier she recommended, so I'd say it's working out. Also, I basically never post on Instagram, so please go give me a follow at @danielboan4 so I feel pressured to do so. Hope you enjoy these picks!

As a skin care fanatic, I love the idea of getting a professional facial treatment, but I also hate the idea of paying for one. My wallet is very grateful that Skyn Iceland figured out a way to sell two "Facelifts In A Bag" for under $30, and it's one of my favorite mini-splurges when I want to pamper myself without going broke. It features two under-eye gel patches, a forehead patch, and two patches for your smile lines to tighten, plump, and moisturize. My most toxic trait is that I am a full-blown Disney Adult and will impulsively spend money on any adorable Disney World-themed décor I randomly discover. I originally bought this 3D-printed Main Street desktop trash can for my also Disney-obsessed sister, but it was just so darn cute that I had to buy one for myself. It's surprisingly detailed and feels high quality — so much so that I could totally imagine seeing this on the shelf at official Disney Parks stores. There's tons of themes to choose from (I have my eye on the It's a Small World and Polynesian Resort ones), so I could see myself developing a weird mini collection of Disney trash cans in the near future. Photo: VenalliBuilds/Etsy This is one of those "where has this been all my life?!" type of products. I'm a sucker for a soft hoodie, especially ever since my apartment became my office and now I can wear them 24/7. As much as I love curling up in them, hanging hoodies in the closet is SUCH a pain. They always slip right off my plastic hangers unless I zip them all the way up, so they usually just end up thrown over a random chair (or that mini elliptical I bought in March 2020 and have used a total of two times 😬). If you have a dishwasher in your home, I want you to go up it to right now and give it a giant hug. Don't you EVER take that beautiful appliance for granted ever again. Hand-washing dishes is my least favorite daily task, so I've been looking for products to make it a bit less of a hassle. I've also been trying to switch to more eco-friendly items when possible, so I knew these washable sponges from Porter Lees on Etsy would be right up my alley. I was right — they're pretty life-changing. It takes a few uses to get used to the thin design, but they work just as well as regular sponges and are so easy to throw in the washing machine once they start getting a little gross — which means I can cross off sponges from my shopping list forever!
