The final decision of BJP central leaders on the Karnataka ministerial list, which Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai discussed with them over the last two days in Delhi, will be announced on Wednesday morning.

2. Mamata likely to conduct aerial survey of flood-hit areas

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to conduct an aerial survey of two of the six flood-affected districts of the state on Wednesday to take stock of the situation, a source in the state secretariat said.

5. All eyes on Captain Kohli's choice of players as India brace for tough English Test

The toughest four months of Virat Kohli's eventful leadership career start here on Wednesday when his strategic acumen will be tested while selecting a perfect Indian combination to take on a good England side in the first Test of a five-match series. Kohli announced his playing XI for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand couple of days before the game and drew flak for not respecting the conditions.
