1. Delhi HC to hear PIL against Twitter over non-compliance with new IT rules  The Centre on Monday told the Delhi High Court that Twitter Inc has failed to comply with India's new IT Rules, which is law of the land and is mandatorily required to be complied with. The matter is scheduled to come up for hearing on Tuesday. 2. COVID-19 unlock-4 in Bihar: Educational institutions, offices to reopen  The Bihar government on Monday announced that all educational institutions and offices will be reopened in the state from July 6. All schools from class XI –XII, colleges, universities and technical institution will be reopened in the state with 50% attendance while, all government and private offices will resume work with normal time. 4. Delhi Skill university launches 11 undergraduate courses, admissions to begin from todayThe Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) on Monday launched 11 flagship skill-based undergraduate courses and admissions for 6,000 seats in their inaugural academic year (2021-22) will begin from Tuesday. 5. Union ministries decide to give more powers to tribal communities in managing forest resourcesThe Union ministries of environment and tribal affairs have jointly decided to give more powers to the tribal communities in managing the forest resources. In an official statement, the ministry of environment said a "Joint Communication" to this effect is scheduled to be signed at the Indira Paryawaran Bhawan here on Tuesday. 6. Delimitation Commission to arrive on four-day visit to J-K todayThe Delimitation Commission led by Justice (retd) Ranjana Prakash Desai will arrive on a four-day visit on Tuesday to interact with political leaders and civil society groups, among others, to gather first-hand inputs to carve out new constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. 7. Coronavirus in India | Numbers and developments  From June 21 to 30, 5.57 million doses were administered every day on average, the highest for any 10-day period since the vaccination drive started. The seven-day rolling average of doses administered per day reached a peak of 6.44 million on June 26. However, the rate could not be sustained in the final days of June. By June 30, the average doses dropped below the 5 million-mark. The number of positive coronavirus cases in India recorded in the last 24 hours stands at 32,249, taking the tally in the country to 3,06,15,660 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
