Odisha Govt to ensure essential services not hit by bandh Keeping in view the six-hour bandh call given by left parties and supported by Congress on July 15, Odisha government has asked all district collectors to ensure essential services are not affected. 7. Coronavirus in India | Numbers and developments The slow pace of COVID-19 vaccination by private centres in some States was a "cause of serious worry", and States have been directed to review the status and progress of vaccine procurement by these centres on a daily basis, according to a senior health official. The number of positive coronavirus cases in India recorded in the last 24 hours stands at 41,755, taking the tally in the country to 3,09,86,803 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
