Gupkar alliance meeting to discuss all-party meet with PM postponed A meeting of the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday has been postponed because of some prior "personal" engagement of the alliance's Vice-Chairperson and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti. 3. No Covishield vaccinations at govt centres in Noida on June 29 All Covishield vaccinations scheduled for June 29 at government centres in Gautam Buddh Nagar have been deferred to July 5, officials said on Monday. The decision has been taken due to "unavoidable" reasons, Chief Medical Officer Deepak Ohri said in a statement. 4. SC to pronounce verdict on plea for welfare measures for migrants The Supreme Court is scheduled to pronounce Tuesday its verdict on a plea seeking directions to the Centre and states to ensure food security, cash transfers and other welfare measures for migrant workers hit hard again by the curbs imposed during the second wave of COVID-19. 5. Narada case: Mamata, others file fresh pleas before HC for submitting affidavits West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Law Minister Malay Ghatak and the state government filed fresh applications before the Calcutta High Court for submitting affidavits before it in connection with the CBI's plea for transfer of the Narada sting tapes case, as per a direction of the Supreme Court. The next hearing of the Narada sting tapes case in the five-judge bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal is scheduled on Tuesday. 7. President Kovind reaches Lucknow on two-day visit On Tuesday, President Ram Nath Kovind will lay the foundation stone of Ambedkar Memorial Cultural Centre before flying to New Delhi. 8. Bengal post-poll violence: NHRC panel to take representations from stakeholders A committee set up by the NHRC decided that it will interact with stakeholders over alleged human rights violations during post-poll violence in West Bengal also on Tuesday, making it a three-day affair, as a large number of people have turned up to register their case, an official said. 9.
