India and Bangladesh are likely to ink at least five MoUs during Mr. Modi's visit, says Foreign Minister.

2. Bharat Bandh: rail, road transport likely to be affected in parts of country

Rail and road transportation services are likely to be affected and markets may remain closed in parts of the country on Friday as farmer unions protesting against the three agri laws have called for a complete 'Bharat Bandh', even as it will not be observed in four poll-bound States and Puducherry.

3. RJD calls for bandh to protest police action in Bihar Assembly

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday gave a call for "Bihar Bandh" on March 26 in protest against forceful eviction of Opposition MLAs from the Assembly when they were agitating against the police bill two days ago.

4. Prahlad Patel to inaugurate Chhatrasal Convention Centre at Khajuraho

Union Tourism and Culture Minister Pralhad Patel will inaugurate the Chhatrasal Convention Centre at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh on Friday and kick-start a roadshow to promote the UNESCO world heritage site as a potential site for global gatherings.

5. Supreme Court to deliver judgement in Tata-Mistry case

The Supreme Court is scheduled to pronounce on Friday its judgement on the cross appeals filed by Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. and Cyrus Investments Pvt. Ltd. against the NCLAT order which had restored Cyrus Mistry as the executive chairman of the over $100 billion salt-to-software Tata conglomerate.

In the wake of the relentless case surge, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that a review meeting of all elected representatives along with top officials had been called for on Friday.

7. Madras HC to hear DMK's appeal over postal ballots

The DMK on Thursday complained to the Madras High Court against the collection of postal votes from 'absentee voters' even before a list of such voters could be provided to recognised political parties.

The gold medal round will now take place on Friday between hosts India and third-placed team U.S. in what seems to be an unprecedented development in the marquee event. The Hungarian team for the particular event has been disqualified from the tournament due to "unsporting behaviour".
