1. 11th round of farmer-govt. talks today Samyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of farm unions leading protests at several Delhi border points, has rejected the govt proposal to suspend agri laws for 18 months. The unions will inform the Centre of their decision at the eleventh round of talks on Friday. 2. Modi to interact with beneficiaries, vaccinators of COVID-19 inoculation drive in Varanasi The interaction is scheduled for 1.15 p.m. via video conferencing. Uddhav to visit Serum Institute unit Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will visit the SII unit which claimed five lives in a fire in Manjri on Friday, the Chief Minister’s Office said. Mr. Thackeray had spoken to Adar Poonawalla on Thursday about the incident. 5. Governor. 6. Indonesia ends search for crashed plane's victims, debris “After much consideration, we have to close the search and rescue operation today,” Transportation minister Budi Karya Sumadi told reporters. “However, we are committed to continue efforts to find the cockpit voice recorder." The government will provide a ship to take relatives to the crash site for a memorial ceremony on Friday morning, he said. 7. Court leaves in question date of forthcoming Catalan vote The Catalonia High Court said that, pending a final decision on the matter before February 8, the election should preventively be kept for February 14 instead of pushing it back to May 30. The court said arguments for its initial decision would be published on Friday. 8.
