Farmers defer tractor march by a day over poor weather forecast Protesting farmer unions have postponed their proposed tractor march from January 6 to January 7 due to a bad weather forecast. Addressing a press conference at Singhu Border here, union leaders said thousands of farmers will take out the tractor march from all protest sites to the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) on January 7. 2. Jaishankar in Sri Lanka on an official visit External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday reached Colombo for a three-day visit during which he will hold discussions with Sri Lanka's top leadership on the entire gamut of bilateral relations. Jaishankar’s visit from January 5 to 7 follows an invitation by his Sri Lankan counterpart Dinesh Gunawardena and is his first foreign visit of the year. This is also the first by a foreign dignitary to Sri Lanka in the new year. 3. Sourav Ganguly to be discharged from hospital Well know cardiologist Devi Shetty on Tuesday called on BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and met the team of doctors treating him at a city hospital and announced that the former Indian cricket captain will be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. Speaking to journalists at the Woodlands Hospital where Mr Ganguly has been admitted Dr. Shetty said that the mild heart attack which he suffered had not caused any damage to his heart and will not affect his life style and life span. 4.
