Kejriwal calls all-party meeting on Thursday to discuss Delhi’s COVID-19 situation  As the national capital grapples with a spurt in COVID-19 cases, the Delhi government is working to add 660 ICU beds in its hospitals in the next few days and the Railways will be providing coaches with 800 beds, while an all-party meeting has been called by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday to discuss the situation.

4. Chhattisgarh govt to launch mobile clinics for women Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will launch special mobile clinics for women in three municipal corporations to mark the birth anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi on Thursday.
5. Bengal BJP worker ‘beaten to death’ during inter-club clash; BJP calls bandh The incident took place during the immersion of idols of Goddess Kali in Tufanganj area of Cooch Behar district. The BJP alleged that the Trinamool Congress was behind the incident, and called a 12-hour bandh in Tufanganj on Thursday.
6. Imran Khan to visit Afghanistan on Thursday  Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Kabul on Thursday on his first trip to Afghanistan since assuming office in 2018 to discuss the Afghan peace process and promote cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
7. Senate caucus chiefs expect strong Indo-US ties to stay As the dust settles on the U.S. presidential election and a change in administration is imminent, Senate India Caucus Co-Chairs Mark Warner (Democrat) and John Cornyn (Republican) emphasised the role of China in their discussion on the India-U.S. partnership.
8. Nancy Pelosi moves toward leading divided House Democrats for two more years Pelosi faced no announced rivals for the post on Wednesday as the chamber’s Democrats planned their first-ever virtual leadership elections in response to the pandemic.
9. Brexit trade talks still have ‘substantial work’ ahead: EU  Several deadlines have already passed and Dombrovskis said the talks could go on for many days more. His comments dampened hopes that a deal could be approved when the EU leaders meet in a video conference on Thursday. 10. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 89,57,981 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The death toll from the disease stands at 1,31,623.
