Sri Lanka capital goes into lockdown after virus surge  Colombo will go back into lockdown from Friday following a surge in cases, authorities say. 7. Verdict expected after trial of Valcke and al-Khelaifi Former FIFA number two Jerome Valcke and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will discover if their roles in the “Fifagate” scandal, regarding alleged corruption in the allocation of World Cup TV rights, are damning enough to land them a stretch behind bars. 8. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 80,85,494 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
