1. NEET results to be declared today The results for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be declared today. The NEET was held on September 13 after the court refused to intervene on the basis of pleas to postpone it owing to the pandemic.
2. Mehbooba Mufti to address press conference Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti will be addressing a press conference today. Ms. Mufti, released after 14 months, on Thursday visited the grave of her father Mufti Muhammad Sayeed in Anantnag district and offered prayers.
3. Rains claim 27 lives in three western Maharashtra districts The IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Friday, forecasting heavy rain in Mumbai and its suburbs. Heavy rains are expected over the ghat areas of Maharashtra, Konkan and south Gujarat during the next two days, it said.
4. Karnataka CM to review situation in rain, flood ravaged districts  “I will be holding a review meeting with Deputy Commissioners of all the districts tomorrow (Friday) via video conferencing and I’m also releasing necessary funds,” B.S. Yediyurappa told reporters.
5. Delhi air pollution | Gopal Rai to hold high-level meeting on "Red light on, Gaadi off”  The Delhi Environment Minister said the AAP government wanted to turn the campaign into a people’s movement.

8. Pakistan Opposition to hold anti-government rally on Friday Over 450 workers from Pakistan’s Opposition parties have been booked in Lahore and other areas of Punjab Province ahead of the first rally.
9. PVR is all set to reopen from Friday After nearly seven months for public screening, PVR has said cost savings on account of lesser manpower, truncated food and beverages menu and other costs will make up for rise in operational expenses due to mandatory standard operating procedure.
