Buffett in non-partisan "call to action" for voters
Buffett participates in "call to action to voters and volunteers" Warren Buffett's support for a Nebraska group that took voters to the polls in the 2016 election is highlighted in "One Vote," described as a "non-partisan documentary" that "highlights the humanity and diversity of American voters via compelling personal stories."
A news release calls the film "a call to action to voters and volunteers in advance of the 2020 Election."
In a trailer for the film, Buffett tells volunteers, "The fact that you're willing to help other people get to the polls tells a lot about you, so we're going to give the country a small civics lesson today."
It's available for rental on several streaming platforms.
As we noted two weeks ago, Buffett has not publicly supported a candidate in this year's race, although he previously endorsed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in their White House runs.
