1. This robot can produce more than 2,000 Covid-19 tests per day. The QVS-96 robot uses three robotic arms to manipulate large amounts of specimen in small bottles usually handled by laboratory technicians.

2. Scientists created 'super enzymes' to fight plastic waste. The MHETase-PETase enzyme works by breaking down PET plastics into their original building blocks. Theoretically, plastics could be recycled over and over again, reducing the need to create new plastics from fossil fuels.

3. This female-run immigrant kitchen making a comeback amid the coronavirus pandemic. Asma Khan's restaurant business was staffed by home-taught female chefs that would provide support to immigrant women and although she had to close her restaurant, she and her staff plan on opening a new Darjeeling Express with takeaway food.

4. Rescued animals are helping the elderly battle isolation during pandemic. Brazilian NGO, Golias Animal Rescue, saves abandoned animals and uses them to provide social interaction to residents at the "Loving Arms" nursing home.

5. This new wearable device is helping workers keep socially distant in England during the pandemic. Bump beeps and changes color when colleagues at get too close by using Bluetooth and radio technology and also provides critical data in the event a person becomes symptomatic.

6. A 25-ton Gundam robot came to life in Yokohama, Japan. Construction of this massive robot began in 2014 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of popular TV series "Mobile Suit Gundam" last year.

7. Baby Yoda joins forces with firefighters in the U.S. A 5-year-old boy and his grandmother delivered the doll to a donation center for firefighters with a note that read: "Here is a friend for you in case you get lonely."

8. NASA captures images of a supernova that is five billion times brighter than our sun. The footage of the supernova in galaxy NGC 2525, 70 million light-years away, was taken between 2018 and 2019.

9. John Lennon's iconic glasses go up for sale. Sotheby's is auctioning a pair of round glasses worn by the late Beatles singer and guitarist John Lennon.

10. These previously captive beluga takes first swim at an open-water sea sanctuary. Little White and Little Grey were sold to Changfeng Ocean World aquarium in Shanghai and forced to perform for over ten years before being rescued and sent to an open-water sea sanctuary in Iceland.
