SAARC virtual meet to be held today The meeting will be chaired by Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal. The meeting’s agenda includes opening remarks by Mr. Gyawali followed by a brief overview by the current SAARC Secretary General, Sri Lankan diplomat Esala R. Weerakoon. 2. Union Minister Suresh Angadi death | National flag to fly half mast in Delhi The national flag will be flown at half mast on Thursday in all government offices in Delhi due to the death of Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi, the Home Ministry announced on Wednesday.
3. Rajnath Singh to dedicate 43 bridges in seven States and UTs on Thursday As many as 43 bridges built in border areas of Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir will be dedicated to the nation by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday, officials said.
4. Rhea Chakraborty bail plea
Her bail plea was scheduled to be heard by a single bench presided over by Justice Sarang Kotwal on Wednesday. However, since the High Court suspended the day’s hearings owing to heavy rains in the city, the plea is likely to be heard on Thursday.

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will run buses from Mangaluru to Mumbai from Thursday.
7. In a first, Kolkata to get tram library The tram library, which will be inaugurated on Thursday, will travel regularly between Shyambazar and Esplanade, traversing 4.5 km through the city’s education hub — College Street.
8. CICA Foreign Ministers to hold video conference on Thursday The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the 27-member Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia will take place on Thursday. Chinese Foreign Ministry said Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend the meeting. India, Russia, Iran and Pakistan besides several other countries are part of the 27-member grouping.
9. Donald Trump to pay respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Thursday The White House says President Donald Trump will pay his respects to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Thursday at the Supreme Court.
10. Calcutta High Court to hear Harsh Vardhan Lodha plea in M.P. Birla case today
A division bench of the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday admitted for hearing a set of appeals filed by Harsh Vardhan Lodha and others, challenging a single bench judgement that restrained him from holding any office in any of the M.P. Birla Group entities during the pendency of a suit over the succession of the Priyamvada Devi Birla estate.
