1. Harsimrat Kaur Badal resignation After the passage of the farm bills, Sukhbir Singh Badal told reporters that his party will decide on the future course of action, and whether to stay in the ruling NDA in a party meeting later.
2. PM to inaugurate railway project in Bihar Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Kosi Rail Mega Bridge in Bihar at 12pm today. Apart from the bridge, the PM will inaugurate 12 other rail projects related to passenger facilities for the benefit of the state, a Railway Ministry release said.
3. Army Chief visits J&K to assess situation along LoC  Army Chief General M.M. Naravane on Thursday arrived in Srinagar on a two-day visit and took “a firsthand assessment” of the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir, a Defence spokesperson said.
4. Sudarshan TV defends ‘UPSC Jehad’, says programme not against Muslims in bureaucracy The top court would hear on Friday the plea which has raised grievance over the programme whose promo had claimed that the channel would show the ‘big expose on conspiracy to infiltrate Muslims in government service’.
5. Central Crime Branch summons ex-Mayor in connection with Bengaluru violence again According to sources in the CCB, Sampath Raj, who is a Congress corporator from Devara Jeevanahalli, has been asked to appear before the investigating officer on Friday.
6. Yediyurappa in New Delhi  Yediyurappa is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president J.P. Nadda on Friday.
7. RSS chief, VHP leaders in Bhopal for two-day meet Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and top leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad have arrived in Bhopal for a two-day meeting, a VHP leader said on Thursday.
8. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation buses to operate with full passenger capacity  The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will operate all the buses with 100% per cent passenger capacity instead of the present 50 per cent from Friday, a top official said.
9. Vistara to offer in-flight WiFi on Dreamliner aircraft from Friday In a press release, the airline said: “As an introductory offer, the service will be available free of cost to all Vistara customers for a limited period.”
10. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 52,13,430 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The toll from the disease stands at 84,432.
