1. Parliament’s Monsoon session likely to end on Wednesday
The Monsoon Session of Parliament is likely to conclude on Wednesday, eight days before it is scheduled to end, amid concerns of spread of coronavirus among lawmakers, sources said. Rajya Sabha is likely to adjourn sine die after taking up five bills on Wednesday, the sources said on Tuesday. The Lok Sabha, Speaker Om Birla said, will meet at 6 pm on Wednesday instead of the usual 3 pm.
2. Harivansh's 24-hour fast ends on Wednesday

Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Harivansh invoked his humble origins in Bihar and socialist inspirations like JP and Karpoori Thakur on Tuesday, as he went on a fast citing opposition members’ “humiliating” conduct towards him, which the ruling NDA has made into a political issue in the poll-bound State.
3. PM to chair COVID-19 review meeting with CMs of seven high-burden States on Wednesday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a high-level virtual meeting with chief ministers and health ministers of seven high-burden states on Wednesday to review the COVID-19 situation.
4. Facebook moves Supreme Court

Facebook India head Ajit Mohan has been summoned to appear before a Delhi Assembly Committee on Wednesday and has moved the Supreme Court to set aside the notice issued to him.

8. Europe adopts tougher virus restrictions as infections surge
As the U.S. crossed 200,000 coronavirus deaths, the crisis deteriorated across Europe, with Britain working to draw up new restrictions, Spain clamping down again in Madrid and the Czech Republic replacing its Health Minister with an epidemiologist because of a surge of infections.
9. Ruth Bader Ginsburg casket will be on public view on Wednesday and Thursday
On Friday, Ginsburg will lie in state in the Capitol’s Statuary Hall in a ceremony open only to invited guests, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.
