1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India has crossed 9 lakh, now standing at 9,06,589 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The toll from the disease stands at 23,721.
2) LAC standoff | Corps Commanders' talks on Tuesday at Chushul India and China are scheduled to hold the fourth round of Corps Commanders talks at Chushul on Tuesday where details of the second phase of disengagement along the border would be discussed, a defence source said.
3) Rajasthan: Congress Legislature Party to meet again on Tuesday The Rajasthan Congress Legislature Party will once again meet on Tuesday, said party spokesperson Randeep Surejewala while urging state Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot to come and discuss issues with an open mind. The meeting will be held at the hotel on the Delhi highway where the party MLAs are currently lodged.
4) Encounters of gangster Vikas Dubey & his aides: SC to hear pleas for court-monitored probe Vikas Dubey. File Photo The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Tuesday the petitions connected with Vikas Dubey's encounter killing, including the one which was filed hours before the Uttar Pradesh gangster was gunned down near Kanpur.
5) T.N. Cabinet to meet today Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami is scheduled to chair a meeting of the State Cabinet in the Secretariat here on Tuesday. Various issues relating to the COVID-19 lockdown, measures being taken to contain the spread of the pandemic are among the matters likely to be taken up for discussion during the meeting. Politics may also be discussed by the ruling party members.

7) Italy calls cabinet meeting to discuss Atlantia concession on Tuesday - govt source Italian ministers will discuss the dispute over Atlantia's motorway concession at a cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning at 0900 GMT, a government source told Reuters. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is aiming to resolve the long-running row with the infrastructure group, whose Autostrade per l'Italia unit managed a bridge that collapsed in the Italian city of Genoa in 2018, killing 43 people.
8) Calcutta HC refuses to stay MBBS exams; tests to be held from Tuesday A view of the Calcutta High Court in Kolkata Written examinations for two batches of MBBS students of West Bengal University Of Health Sciences (WBUHS) will be held from July 14, the Calcutta High Court ordered on Monday, refusing prayers by a few students for a stay on the tests in view of the current pandemic situation.
9) UK government to make Huawei statement on Tuesday British minister Oliver Dowden will make a statement to parliament on Huawei sometime after 1130 GMT on Tuesday, the opposition Labour Party said on Twitter.
