1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers The number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 2,16,735 with the death toll at 6,077. India on Wednesday registered a massive spike of 9,577 new COVID-19 cases and 253 fatalities, according to data from the State Health Departments.
2) Coronavirus | HCQ trails to resume The World Health Organization has announced that clinical trials of the drug hydroxychloroquine will resume as it searches for potential coronavirus treatments. British medical journal The Lancet says that it had concerns about data behind an influential article that found that HCQ increased the risk of death in COVID-19 patients.
3) Vijay Mallya extradition - follow up Several media outlets including CNBCTV18 and india TV are reporting about his imminent arrival in Mumbai. India Today TV quotes senior government sources that India is yet to receive any official communication from the authorities in the United Kingdom regarding the final decision on Vijay Mallya's extradition. 
4) India to join U.K.-led virtual Global Vaccine Summit India is among over 50 countries and organisations confirmed to participate in the UK-led virtual Global Vaccine Summit to be hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday.
5) Rahul Gandhi interaction with industrialist Rajiv Bajaj on COVID-19 "Tomorrow, Thursday, 4th June, 10 AM onwards, join my conversation with Mr Rajiv Bajaj on the Covid crisis, across all my social media platforms," Mr. Gandhi tweeted.
6) Prime Minister Modi to hold virtual summit with Australian PM Scott Morrison had earlier delayed his visit to India due to the bushfire crisis in Australia. Mr Morrison said he was looking forward to discussing the countries' responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
7) Private hotel moves HC against Delhi govt's decision to convert it into COVID hospital The petition, which is listed for hearing on Thursday before Justice Navin Chawla, has been filed by CHL Limited which owns the Hotel Surya (200 beds) in New Friends Colony.
8) 354 stranded labourers to be flown to Chhattisgarh from Bengaluru At least 354 labourers from Chhattisgarh, stranded in Karnataka due to the coronavirus induced-lockdown, will reach Raipur by flight on Thursday and Friday, officials said.
9) George Floyd Killing | Charges against all four officers A fired Minneapolis police officer will face a more serious murder charge and three other sacked officers will be charged as aiding and abetting in the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man that has triggered over a week of nationwide protests in the U.S.
10) George Floyd killing | Protests across the U.S. continue Thousands continue to march as the protests against George Floyd's killing reached its ninth day. CNN and a host of other outlets are reporting however, that the protests remained peaceful.  Demonstrators protesting against the killing of George Floyd lie down near the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.
