1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers The number of positive cases reported in India stands at 67,160 with 2,214 fatalities. The Health Ministry on Sunday said that the recovery rate in the country had crossed 30%.
2) PM interaction with CMs The PMO said the video conference will begin at 3 PM on Monday. This will be Modi’s fifth interaction with the chief ministers since the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
3) Manmohan Singh admitted to AIIMS Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, 87, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Sunday evening with a complaint of chest pain. He is under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward, a hospital source said.
4) Railways to resume select passenger services Booking for reservation in these trains will start at 4 pm on Monday and will be available only on the IRCTC website.
5) Migrants resort to desperate means to reach home, Centre asks states to permit more special trains The Centre has appealed to all States to permit operation of more special trains for stranded workers. Six more people died during the countrywide movement of the migrants.
6) First Air India flights to evacuate Indians from the U.S. take off Apart from the two flights from New Jersey, two flights have been scheduled from Chicago on Monday (to Mumbai and Chennai).
7) PIL in Delhi HC to take steps for protection, welfare of sex workers, LGBT members The plea is scheduled to come up for hearing on Monday before a bench of justices Rajiv Sahai Endlaw and Sangita Dhingra Sehgal.
8) NDMA issues guidelines for restarting industrial units The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a series of guidelines for restarting manufacturing industries after the lockdown period.
