Good afternoon,
Business resilience relies first and foremost on leadership. Now more than ever, companies face unprecedented challenges in responding to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Chief among these challenges - how to protect the wellbeing of workers while also maintaining business continuity and protecting the bottom line.
As we mentioned last week, with the health and safety of our event attendees is top of mind, CNBC has decided to postpone @Work, scheduled for April 1-2. In lieu of the in-person summit, we'll be hosting a livestream addressing the unprecedented challenges facing the workforce today, and we'll walk away with learnings from some of our scheduled guests from the event: Arianna Huffington speaking to Andrew Ross Sorkin, Humu's Lazlo Bock, Basecamp's Jason Fried and Merryck's Adam Bryant. Plus, newcomers to our event: Cisco Chairman John Chambers, former Googler Bill Duane, EY CEO Carmine Di Sibio, plus, author Daniel Pink and former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb.
We'll tackle key questions, including crisis management and communication, managing a newly remote workforce, and best practices on how to keep employees, and yourself, safe in the workplace. Other topics include addressing employees' anxieties, managing employees of differing levels and roles, and more.
More details about the livestream will be shared with our subscribers next week. Until then, stay safe and healthy. |
