Apple Watch sleep tracking revealed: sleep quality, battery management, more

There's been a lot of speculation about Apple Watch sleep tracking, especially after Apple acquired Beddit, manufacturer of the Beddit Sleep Monitor product and companion app.

Today, 9to5Mac has learned from sources inside Apple that the company is working on sleep tracking for the Apple Watch, which won't require any special hardware to work. The new feature could be announced as early as next week when the company is expected to announce the next generation iPhones and possibly a revised Apple Watch with titanium and ceramic options.

Facebook confirms it may follow Instagram's lead and start hiding like counts

Back in July, Instagram expanded its testing of hiding like counts to a total of seven countries. Now, Facebook has confirmed that it may start testing the same on its platform. The change could come to News Feed posts and show users a few mutual friends who have like a Facebook post without a total like count.

No, Apple is not getting rid of iMessage games

This is a strange story of the inexplicable nature of the viral Internet. This morning, the term ‘iMessage’ started trending on Twitter. Apparently, an unsubstantiated rumor is spreading that Apple is shutting down iMessage games, like the very popular GamePigeon iMessage app. We aren’t sure how this rumor got started… but we can confirm to people that Apple has made no such announcement that they are shutting down the iMessage App Store.

Apple and Burberry develop 'R Message' chat tool for personalized shopping

Zao iOS face-swap app tops Chinese App Store rankings, raises privacy fears
