AICC general secretary and in-charge of Punjab affairs Harish Rawat is likely to arrive in Chandigarh to meet Amarinder Singh on Saturday even as suspense over the much-awaited announcement from the Congress high command on the resolution of the infighting in the party's state unit continues. 2. Tripura imposes weekend curfew, extends day curfew in Agartala and 11 other towns to battle rising COVID-19 cases The Tripura government has imposed a weekend curfew on Saturday and Sunday and extended the existing day curfew in Agartala Municipal Corporation and 11 other towns or Urban Local Bodies from July 19 to July 23 after reviewing the COVID-19 situation. 8. Coronavirus in India | Numbers and developments The Bombay High Court told the Maharashtra government to frame a policy or guidelines for door-to-door vaccination of those bedridden, and senior citizens. The number of positive coronavirus cases in India recorded in the last 24 hours stands at 38,301, taking the tally in the country to 3,10,64,021 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
