1. Supreme Court hearing on objective criteria for Class 12 marks today

SC to hold a hearing in which the CBSE and the ICSE are expected to place on record the objective criteria by which they intend to assess the performance of Class 12 students whose Board exams have been cancelled due to the pandemic.

2. Court defers order on 'immediate release' of student activists for Thursday

A court in Delhi has deferred its order on the immediate release of JNU students Devangana Kalita and Natasha Narwal, who have been granted bail by the High Court in the riots 'conspiracy' case, for Thursday.

 

3. Pashupati Kumar Paras visits Patna, challenges Chirag Paswan's contention on LJP split

He also said that while Suraj Bhan Singh, a former MP, has been made the "working president", a full-time national chief of the LJP will be elected in Patna on Thursday.

Demanding clarity on the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC), the Nashik district unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Samata Parishad has announced the launch of an agitation against the Centre over this and other issues concerning the community.

7. Ayodhya land 'scam': Congress to stage demonstration in all U.P. districts

Congress workers will stage demonstration in all district headquarters of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, demanding a Supreme Court supervised investigation into allegations of corruption in a land deal of the Ram temple trust in Ayodhya.

8. Ambani home bomb scare case: NIA seeks custody of former cop

A court will hear the plea on Thursday.

 

9. Euro 2020: Denmark set for 'emotional' Belgium game as Dutch targets knockouts

Denmark to host the world's top-ranked side Belgium today with the trauma of Christian Eriksen's collapse still raw, while the Netherlands can move into the last 16 on their return to a major tournament.
