1. West Bengal Elections | Fifth phase of polls Forty-five Assembly seats spread across six districts of West Bengal will go to polls in the fifth phase of polling on Saturday. Bypoll to Serchhip seat in Mizoram The bypoll to the Serchhip seat was necessitated after the disqualification of incumbent MLA Lalduhoma in November 2020 under the anti-defection law. 4. Amid tight security, Tirupati LS bypoll to be held Tirupati, a reserved constituency, is going to the bypoll due to the death of sitting YSRC member Balli Durga Prasad Rao in September 2020. 8. Maharashtra's Pandharpur bypoll a test for MVA allies, BJP The ruling NCP and the Opposition BJP are in a direct fight in this by-election, which was necessitated due to the death NCP legislator Bharat Bhalke owing to post-COVID complications in November 2020. 9. Tight security for Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly bypoll in Telangana The bypoll for the constituency was necessitated due to the death of TRS legislator Nomula Narsimhaiah in December 2020. 10.
