1. Farmers' protests - follow up The Centre is inclined to continue talks with agitating farmer leaders despite the violence and chaos in the capital on Republic Day, a top government source has told The Hindu.
2. Mobile internet suspended in 3 Haryana districts for 24 hours as Delhi witnesses violent protests  Mobile internet services have been suspended in three Haryana districts of Sonipat, Jhajjar and Palwal for 24 hours ending 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the State government said on Tuesday evening, as violent protests by farmers rocked neighbouring Delhi.
3. Supreme Court to hear pleas of Tandav director, others seeking quashing of FIRs The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Wednesday a batch of pleas seeking quashing of criminal complaints lodged in various states against Ali Abbas Zafar, the Director of web series 'Tandav', and others for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
4. Sasikala to be released from jail on Wednesday  According to prison authorities, the former aide of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, will be formally released on Wednesday. "... All the formalities pertaining to her release will be completed tomorrow at the hospital itself," a prison official told PTI. However, Sasikala, who has tested positive for COVID-19, will continue to be treated for the infection.
5. White House to resume public COVID-19 briefings White House press secretary Jen Psaki says the Biden administration will provide public briefings on the coronavirus pandemic starting Wednesday.
6. Laggards Kerala, Jamshedpur eye wins in ISL Languishing at the bottom half of the table, both Kerala Blasters and Jamshedpur FC will look for an outright win when they clash against each other in an Indian Super League match at the GMC Stadium, in Bambolim on Wednesday.
7. Sindhu, Srikanth look to turn the tide at BWF World Tour Finals  Premier Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth need to shrug off the disappointments of the last two weeks as they gear up for the highly-competitive HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, beginning in Bangkok on Wednesday.
8. Team India, England members arrive in Chennai Indian team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, senior batsman Rohit Sharma and pacer Shardul Thakur arrived on Tuesday. The other Indian players, including skipper Virat Kohli, are expected to reach Chennai in batches on Wednesday. While some England players like Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Moeen Ali are already in the city, the others will be arriving on Wednesday.
