COVID-19 | Curfew in different parts of Gujarat In Ahmedabad, complete curfew has been enforced from Friday 9 p.m. to Monday 6 a.m. and then indefinite night curfew. Public transport service in the city will be halted on Saturday and Sunday, while all exams scheduled by the Gujarat Public Service Commission and other bodies have been postponed. The government on Friday decided to impose night curfew from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot. 2. COVID-19 | M.P. to impose night curfew in some cities A night curfew, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., will be imposed in five cities of Madhya Pradesh — Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ratlam and Vidisha — starting November 21. 3. G20 meeting in Saudi Arabia on Saturday Eminent economist and key Sherpa to G20 Dennis J. Snower on Friday said it is vital for G20 countries to coordinate monetary and fiscal policies as there is a big risk of financial crisis in the future due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 6. Bosnia marks 25 years since inking of U.S.-brokered peace deal The peace agreement between Bosnia Hezegovina, Serbia and Croatia was reached in Dayton, Ohio on November 21, 1995. 7. Europe-U.S. ‘climate guardian’ satellite launch on Saturday The Earth-observation satellite will measure sea level rise, tracking changes threatening to disrupt tens of millions of lives within a generation. The satellite is due to be carried into orbit Saturday from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. 8. Djokovic beats Zverev, advances to semifinals at ATP Finals The top-ranked Djokovic set up a match against Dominic Thiem on Saturday as he goes for a record-tying sixth title at the season-ending event, and a first since 2015. 9. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 90,50,315 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
