This myth debunked: You don't have to be wealthy to hire a financial advisor | | | WED, OCT 28, 2020 | | | It doesn't matter how much money you have, a majority of us dream about the same things in life: going to college, owning a home, raising a family, having a successful career, retiring comfortably and having some financial security.
And I would bet that most of us start out believing we can handle all those money decisions we need to make along the way on our own. Then, as our careers, lives and life goals get more complicated, we begin to reconsider things. We start asking: Am I making all the right financial decisions? Was that the right investment for me? Do I know enough to make smart investing choices that can help me meet my short- and long-term goals?
Perhaps you feel you're too young or that you just don't have a lot of money to invest to get some professional financial advice. You would be wrong.
I believe having a trusted professional can help people feel more at ease in their financial decision-making. A financial game plan is very valuable. That means knowing what you want to do before a life situation occurs, rather than simply reacting.
It's all about planning ahead to help you work toward your financial goals — and also preparing for those unexpected challenges.
Money can bring joy to your life and it can also be a source of anxiety. It's also typically an uncomfortable subject to discuss. However, money does play a big part in our lives and the process of setting and planning your financial goals can be intimidating. A financial advisor can help guide you on how to properly budget, save, invest and grow your money to help meet those life goals you have set.
