Congress leaders stage midnight protest at Goa hotel to meet Javadekar Several Goa Congress leaders, including the Pradesh Committee vice president, were detained on Friday night after they protested in the lobby of a hotel demanding they be allowed to meet Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar. 6. Punjab farmer protests continue A total of 31 farmer bodies have joined hands to intensify the agitation and announced an rail roko agitation from October 1.
