1. India-China border row | Indian-Chinese Foreign Ministers in Moscow External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi are set to hold the keenly anticipated bilateral talks on Thursday against the backdrop of a massive spike in tension in eastern Ladakh triggered by fresh face-offs between the two armies along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
2. Rafale jets to be formally inducted into IAF on Thursday  A galaxy of dignitaries including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, his French counterpart Florence Parly, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria and Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar will attend the ceremony in Ambala air base.

4. Bombay High Court stays demolition at Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow, questions BMC’s intentions  The court gave the corporation an opportunity to explain its stand/conduct through an affidavit, the judges said, and posted the petition for further hearing on Thursday.
5. BKU to hold rally to protest Centre’s 3 farm ordinances Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Gurnam Singh has said his outfit, along with some other farmers’ organisations, will hold a rally in Kurukshetra on Thursday to protest the Centre’s three anti-farmer ordinances.
6. Central team on M.P. visit to assess flood damage  A Central team will begin its three-day tour of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday to take stock of damage caused by heavy rains and floods in various districts recently.
7. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 44,62,960 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The toll from the disease stands at 75,115.
