Sonamura-Daukandi route connecting Tripura to conclude on Saturday: MEA A trial run of the Sonamura—Daukandi route which connects Tripura with the National Waterways of India through Bangladesh has begun and would conclude on Saturday, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday, asserting that the initiative will greatly enhance connectivity with the North Eastern region and boost trade.

North Carolina kicks off mail voting as requests spike Mail balloting in the presidential election is set to begin as North Carolina starts sending out more than 600,000 ballots to voters — responding to a massive spike in requests that has played out across the country as voters look for a safer way to cast ballots during the pandemic. 5. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 40,20,112 at the time of publishing this newsletter.
