1. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 18,04,557 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The death toll from the disease stands at 38,165. Several high-profile people, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka Chief Minister Yediyurappa, tested positive on Sunday. 2. Ease in lockdown restrictions in Arunachal's Capital Complex from today Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar said the Cabinet, during a meeting headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, approved a new set of guidelines, which will be in force from Monday till the end of August. 5. Assam allows inter-district travel on 2 days of week; night curfew, weekend shutdown to continue Night curfew from 6 pm to 6 am on all days and total lockdown on weekends, however, will continue to remain in force for now, an order issued on Sunday by Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna said. 6.
