Kargil war anniversary A grand war memorial named 'Pancham Dham' will be built to honour martyrs from Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said on Saturday. Increase daily COVID-19 testing to 1 lakh: U.P. CM Directing the Chief Secretary R.K. Tripura announces three-day lockdown The Tripura government has imposed a three-day complete lockdown from Monday in view of the surge in the coronavirus infections. Bengal BJP's brainstorming session concludes in Delhi The four-day-long meeting began in Delhi on Thursday. 9. Hurricane Hanna threatens South Texas Hanna could cause "life-threatening surf" and a few tornadoes overnight on the Texas coastal plain, the National Hurricane Center said. It could bring flash flooding, with up to 15 inches (38 cm) of rain in pockets of southern Texas and northeastern Mexico. 10. U.K. to quarantine travellers from Spain Britain abruptly imposed a two-week quarantine on all travellers arriving from Spain after a surge of coronavirus cases.
