1. Coronavirus | Latest numbers and developments The number of positive coronavirus cases reported from India now stands at 13,85,486 at the time of publishing this newsletter. The toll from the disease stands at 32,110. 2. Mann Ki Baat 67 The 67th episode of the Prime Minister's radio address at 11 a.m. on Sunday. 3. Rajasthan political crisis | Ashok Gehlot to push again for Assembly session as crisis drags on - follow up A State Cabinet meeting, presided over by Mr. Gehlot, decided that the government would make a fresh submission to the Governor for calling the Assembly session, while responding to his questions raised over the original proposal. 4. Kargil war anniversary A grand war memorial named 'Pancham Dham' will be built to honour martyrs from Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said on Saturday. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said the sacrifices made by soldiers of the Indian Army during the 1999 war will always inspire the country's youth to become more patriotic.  5. 'Janta curfew' in Nagpur - follow up Essential services will be functional on the weekend, but all other establishments will remain closed, the civic commissioner said. 6. Increase daily COVID-19 testing to 1 lakh: U.P. CM Directing the Chief Secretary R.K. Tiwari and additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad to undertake spot review of medical services in Kanpur Nagar and Jhansi on Saturday and Prayagraj and Mirzapur on Sunday, the CM asked them to submit a report of the review meeting to him.  7. Tripura announces three-day lockdown The Tripura government has imposed a three-day complete lockdown from Monday in view of the surge in the coronavirus infections. The Health department will conduct a house to house-to-house survey and antigen test of suspected patients during the lockdown. 8. Bengal BJP's brainstorming session concludes in Delhi The four-day-long meeting began in Delhi on Thursday. 9. Hurricane Hanna threatens South Texas Hanna could cause "life-threatening surf" and a few tornadoes overnight on the Texas coastal plain, the National Hurricane Center said. It could bring flash flooding, with up to 15 inches (38 cm) of rain in pockets of southern Texas and northeastern Mexico.  10. U.K. to quarantine travellers from Spain Britain abruptly imposed a two-week quarantine on all travellers arriving from Spain after a surge of coronavirus cases. The quarantine requirement took effect from midnight (2300 GMT on Saturday), making it impossible for travellers to avoid it by rushing home. Morning Filter will return tomorrow.
