WHO reviewing report urging new guidance over airborne spread of coronavirus The World Health Organization (WHO) is reviewing a report urging it to update guidance on the novel coronavirus after more than 200 scientists, in a letter to the health agency, outlined evidence that the virus can spread in tiny airborne particles.
3. Final year examinations must be conducted by September end: UGC A view of the University Grants Commission in New Delhi Final year university examinations may be postponed until the end of September, but must be conducted in either online or offline mode, the University Grants Commission decided on Monday evening. Students who are unable to appear for these examinations will be given the opportunity to appear for special examinations which will be conducted later, according to an official statement.

6. 21-day "I Follow" campaign will be launched by Surat traffic police on July 7 To give temporary respite to people facing financial hardship due to the coronavirus and resultant lockdown, the Surat city traffic police have decided to not collect fines from people violating rules and instead focus on awareness campaigns for 21 days, an official said on Monday.
7. Ahmedabad: 75 teams to check COVID-19 patients at home A health official collects sample for a swab test from a mobile testing van in Ahmedabad The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation on Monday formed 75 teams to examine coronavirus patients at home under its 'Home Sanjivani Van' initiative. Under the initiative, a two-member team would visit COVID-19 patients, who are under home isolation, on a daily basis to register blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen level etc.
8. BCCI ACU team to travel to Punjab following Ravinder Dandiwal's arrest The BCCI's anti-corruption unit will be in Chandigarh on Tuesday to share and gather information on alleged match-fixer Ravinder Dandiwal, who has been arrested by Punjab Police. Dandiwal has been arrested for his alleged role in organising a T20 game near Chandigarh, which was streamed online as a match happening in Sri Lanka.
