Despite the political crisis in Rajasthan showing no signs of abating, the ruling Congress on Saturday claimed that it had a "comfortable majority" in the State Assembly and turned up the heat on dissidents to return to the party fold.  3. Coronavirus | Central team arrives in Bihar RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said he would urge the central team that is arriving in the state on Sunday to ensure transparency in reporting of COVID-19 figures. 4. India-Pakistan | India lodges protest over ceasefire violation - follow up "India condemns, in the strongest terms, the deliberate targeting of innocent civilians by Pakistan forces. This year alone, 21 Indians have been killed and 94 injured in over 2,711 unprovoked ceasefire violations," an official statement said. 5. Lockdown restrictions to be tightened in Yanam region on Sundays Shivraj Meena, the Regional Administrator of Yanam, said in a release that stricter curfew would come into force on Sundays in the region from July 19 in an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus.  6. Two held for killing sarpanch in Haryana's Rohtak 75-year-old Balkrishan, village head of Chidi, was killed on Thursday night after motorcycle-borne assailants shot him inside his house.The two would be produced before a court in Rohtak on Sunday, police said. 7. Nepal's communist party's key meeting ends with no breakthrough to end Oli-Prachanda infighting The NCP called a secretariat meeting after the two top leaders agreed to call a conclave of the highest body of the party ahead of the 45-member Standing Committee meeting on Sunday in a bid to strike a power-sharing deal by sorting out their differences. 8. Nine Bangladesh cricketers to resume individual training from Sunday The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has prepared four venues for the first phase of practice session by following all the necessary safety protocols, according to a BCB statement.  9. Italian Style beat Spanish Chanos to qualify for finals Italian Style beat Spanish Chanos to qualify for the final of the world's first Online Shooting League on Saturday. The second semifinal will be held on Sunday between French Frogs and Austrian Rocks. 10. India's heritage houses to join Palace Day celebrations on Sunday This is for the first time when any Indian palace or other palatial buildings will be part of the global celebrations, which first began in Europe in 2016 at the initiative of the Palace of Versailles, according to Centre for Historic Houses (CHH), part of a leading private university.
