As Republicans and Democrats send grim signs about their ability to break an impasse over the next coronavirus relief bill, the Senate left for the weekend. That assured the aid will lapse.   It is unclear now how long unemployment insurance recipients will have to go without extra assistance during an ongoing economic crisis.
