2) International Day of Yoga: PM addresses the nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation at 6.30 a.m. today. This year's theme is 'Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family.' Yoga has emerged as a force for unity and it does not discriminate as it goes beyond race, colour, gender, faith and nations, Mr. Modi said. In his message on the sixth International Day of Yoga, he said due to the coronavirus pandemic, the world is feeling the need for Yoga more than ever.

4) Three dead in stabbing attack in England  Police secure a cordon near Forbury Gardens park in Reading, west of London
Three people were killed and another three seriously injured when a man went on a stabbing spree in a park in the southern English town of Reading on Saturday. The stabbings took place at the site of Black Lives Matter protest in the town earlier in the day, reports Sky News.

India is the fourth worst-hit nation by the pandemic after the U.S., Brazil and Russia. According to Johns Hopkins University, which has been compiling COVID-19 data from all over the world, India is at the eighth position in terms of the death toll.

The annular phase will be visible only in few places of northern India, while the rest of the country will observe this event partially, a press release from Planetary Society, India said. Across the world the eclipse in various phases will occur between 9.16 a.m. IST and 3.04 p.m. IST. The greatest phase of the eclipse will be at 12.10 p.m.
