Trump comes up short at Supreme Court

Bloomberg Opinion Today

Donald Trump didn't have a good week at the U.S. Supreme Court, and he's taking it personally. A court the president had hoped would rule reliably in his favor delivered two major defeats to his administration — one in a case involving gay rights, and another on immigration. (The court also refused to hear a group of gun-rights cases.) The president is sure to make Supreme Court appointees a major campaign issue now — and November is just around the corner. Meanwhile, young migrants and LGBT workers have reason to celebrate.
