1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers The number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 1,90,598 with the death toll at 5,400. As India's tally is set to cross 2 lakh it has now become the world's seventh worst-hit country in terms of coronavirus cases.
2) Unlock 1.0 | India reopens - follow up State governments have come out with varied 'Unlock 1' guidelines including on allowing inter-state travel even as Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana extended the lockdown till June 30 with several relaxations, a day after the Centre eased the 68-day shutdown curbs significantly with an economic focus. 8) U.K. government authorises return of live sport The British government has approved the return of domestic competitive sport behind closed doors from Monday. Horse racing is set to be the first major sport back in action at Newcastle on Monday, with the first Classic meeting of the season, featuring the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket, on June 6.
