FBI, don't read this
THE BIG STORY
Roger Stone told Trump in advance that WikiLeaks would release Clinton campaign emails
Trump was told in advance about documents embarrassing to the Clinton campaign and subsequently informed advisers that he expected more releases would be coming, according to newly unredacted portions of special counsel Robert Mueller's report into Russia's interference in the 2016 election.
STAYING ON TOP OF THIS
The FBI used its most advanced spy plane to watch Black Lives Matter protests
The aircraft is normally used to provide surveillance for big federal drug and gang busts — but flew over the Black Lives Matter protests in DC earlier this month, as well as over Baltimore during protests over the death of Freddie Gray.
The FBI's Cessna Citation is a one-of-a-kind spy plane fitted with sophisticated cameras for long-range, persistent video surveillance, day or night. It began circling the nation's capital late on the night of June 1, and then again the following two nights as protests continued, and it made a shorter flight on June 6.

RALLY RECAP
Trump's busy weekend
President Trump held his first rally in months in Tulsa on Saturday, and it went about as well as expected: • A woman in an "I can't breathe" shirt was removed from the rally for "trespassing." • Trump's campaign said six staffers who were working on the rally tested positive for the coronavirus. • The president said he told officials to "slow the testing down" so coronavirus cases don't increase (and used racist language to refer to it). • Trump also took some time to defend how he shuffled down a ramp and drank water during a speech.
BOOKS
I know what you'll read this summer
One of the best parts of indie bookstores is reading employee recommendations scattered around the shelves. And while the pandemic has kinda put in-store browsing on hold, that doesn't mean you can't get quality recommendations and support bookstores at the same time. Here are 38 great books to read this summer, recommended by our favorite indie booksellers. For even more word-nerdery, sign up for our Books newsletter! Ready? Go! Brandon P.S.
