The number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 3,21,557 with the death toll at 9,196.
2 ) Amit Shah to hold meeting with Delhi LG, CM on COVID-19 situation in national capital
Ahead of a virtual meet with CMs, PM takes stock of COVID-19 situation, suggests that Home Minister and Health Minister convene an emergency meeting with the Lt Governor and the Chief Minister of Delhi, along with senior officials of the central and the NCT governments as also officials of municipal corporations of Delhi, to plan a "coordinated and comprehensive response" to the pandemic. The meetings suggested by the PM are taking place on Sunday.

4) Pakistan ceasefire violation - follow up
Pakistan violated ceasefire on sixth consecutive day on June 13. "At about 9:20 a.m., ceasefire violation was reported from Kamalkote sector in Uri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district," the officials said.
5) India-China standoff - follow up
For the first time Army chief has admitted there was tension at the border. The Army has officially acknowledged that stand-offs had taken place at several areas, including Galwan river.
6) From June 14, every Sunday will see complete shutdown in U.P.'s Muzaffarnagar
According to District Magistrate Selvakumari J, it has been decided to impose Janata Curfew with all business establishments including shops, hotels, and malls to be closed every Sunday. All activities in the district will be suspended except for essential services, she added.
7) Kolkata tram services to resume from Sunday
Following restoration of tracks and overhead wires and recommencement of public transport system in the city, services will be resumed in one route from Sunday, WBTC managing director Rajanvir Singh Kapur said.
8) Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon hospitalised in Lucknow
Mr. Tandon was on Saturday admitted to the Medanta hsopital and his condition was stated to be stable. 9) Supreme Court to hear plea for quashing FIR against journalist Vinod Dua in Himachal
The Supreme Court will hear on Sunday a plea by journalist Vinod Dua seeking quashing of a sedition case filed against him following a complaint by a local BJP leader in Shimla over his YouTube show.
10) Petroleum Minister to visit Assam inferno site on Sunday
Dharmendra Pradhan, who reached Assam on Saturday, said he will go through a detailed plan to control the well fire which has been prepared in consultation with the foreign experts. Mr. Pradhan said he will visit the disaster site on Sunday along with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
