1. Coronavirus | Latest numbers The number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 181969 with the death toll at 5181. The Health Ministry on Saturday said that India's recovery rate had improved to 47.4% 2. First Mann Ki Baat of Modi 2.0's second year The Prime Minister will address the nation at 11 a.m. today, a day after addressing a letter to all Indians on the occasion of the end of the first year of his second term. 3. As lockdown 4.0 ends, it's now Unlock 1.0 As Lockdown 4.0 comes to an end, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued new guidelines called Unlock 1.0 allowing malls, restaurants, religious places to open in all areas except containment zones from June 8. It however prohibited opening of bars, gymnasiums, entertainment parks, cinema halls, metro rail and international air travel. 4. Curbs should not be eased in Chennai, 3 other T.N. districts, says medical panel An expert medical panel, constituted by the Tamil Nadu government to advise on Covid-19 on Saturday said the ongoing lockdown should not be relaxed in four high-prevalence districts including Chennai. It also indicated that local conditions need to be factored in before removing the lockdown in the respective districts. 5. Tirupati laddu subsidised sales to start in Hyderabad from Sunday The "laddus" would be made available at the information centre of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that governs the shrine, at Himayat Nagar in Hyderabad.
