1) Coronavirus | Latest numbers The number of positive cases reported in India stands at 59,479 with 1,976 fatalities. The government on Friday said the recovery rate in India had hit 29.36 percent.
2) Coronavirus | First Air India repatriation flight to take off from U.K. with 250 Indians The flight marks the first of seven Air India routes organised by the Indian government from London’s Heathrow Airport to six Indian cities over the next week — Mumbai (Saturday and Tuesday), Bengaluru (Sunday), Hyderabad (Monday), Ahmedabad (Wednesday), Chennai (Thursday) and New Delhi (Friday) — in the first phase of the U.K.-India segment of the Operation Vande Bharat.

8) Operation set to begin to plug leakage at Vizag's LG Polymers Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Avanti Srinivas said the operation to plug the emissions of Styrene would begin soon. “This process is likely to be completed by Friday evening or maximum by Saturday morning,” the Minister told reporters.
9) Naxal injured in encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh The Naxal was later arrested and will be produced in a local court on Saturday, police said.
10) Punjab ex-DGP files anticipatory bail plea in 29-year-old abduction case A court in Mohali has issued a notice to Punjab Police, asking them to submit the complete records in the abduction case, and listed the matter for next hearing on Saturday.
