1) Coronavirus | Prime Minister hints at calibrated exit from lockdown
As the nation entering the 14th day of a 21-day lockdown on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, asked his Council of Ministers on just how to do a calibrated exit from the confinement, especially since the cases related to the Tablighi Jamaat Centre and the country’s own tally of COVID-19 positive cases are ballooning.
2) Coronavirus | British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's health worsens, taken to intensive care
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was moved to intensive care on Monday after his coronavirus symptoms worsened and he has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise, Downing Street said. Mr. Johnson was admitted to hospital on Sunday night and had been undergoing tests after suffering persistent coronavirus symptoms for more than 10 days, but the government had earlier said he was in good spirits and still in charge.
3) Coronavirus | No fresh COVID-19 case for 2nd day in Noida; door-to-door awareness campaign from Tuesday
No fresh coronavirus case was reported across Noida and Greater Noida for a second day in a row, with the administration now planning a door-to-door COVID-19 awareness and information gathering campaign, officials said on Monday.
4) Coronavirus | Japan's PM to declare state of emergency as early as Tuesday
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that he will declare a state of emergency for Tokyo and six other prefectures as early as Tuesday to bolster measures to fight the coronavirus, but that there will be no hard lockdowns.
5) Coronavirus | One more death and about 621 cases in TN
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu has now increased to 621. Speaking to reporters, the top Health official said work to install testing equipment in as many as 21 government run medical college hospitals was on, adding the Central government’s permission was awaited. The State already has 17 testing centres.
6) Coronavirus | UP to open more testing labs The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to open more laboratories in medical colleges of the state in a bid to strengthen the coronavirus testing infrastructure, an official said on Monday. Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Kumar Awasthi said on the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the upgrade of the laboratories in medical colleges of Meerut, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Saifai, Kanpur, Allahabad and Lucknow has also been initiated.

The coronavirus threatened Americans with their hardest week in living memory on Monday and put Britain’s prime minister in hospital, despite early signs that some of Europe’s hardest-hit countries may be turning a corner.
8) Coronavirus | Authorities mull NSA, attempt to murder charge against Tablighi participants who don’t show up for test
As coronavirus cases in the country spike, authorities have warned of invoking attempt to murder charge and the stringent National Security Act(NSA) against those participants of the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi who fail to report for screening test.
9) Australia's highest court to judge cardinal's abuse appeal
